Why It Matters
Classic films offer more than a window into the past. They give audiences the chance to examine storytelling traditions, cultural shifts, visual language, and the evolution of performance on screen.
By experiencing these films in a theater setting and through an educational lens, students and attendees can better understand how cinema reflects society, shapes memory, and continues to influence modern filmmaking today.
