CORONADO ISLAND FILM FESTIVAL
NOVEMBER 10-14, 2021
PLEASE NOTE | The Coronado Island Film Festival will take place on Nov. 10-14, 2021. We are planning for an “in-person” festival at this time along with a curated selection of films that will screen online as part of our virtual fest. Based on county guidelines we currently do not yet know the capacity limitations for in-door events. As we get closer to the date of the festival we will release a limited number of passes to the general public. These will be sold on a first-come basis. Individual tickets will be available for all screenings, events, and gatherings.
2020 pass holders have been automatically rolled into 2021 and will enjoy all the benefits of our Emerald Package. Please check back on our website for updates and sign up for our REEL NEWS to get the latest news from the festival!

What are you waiting for? – SUBMIT TODAY
An absolutely stellar experience! The Coronado Island Film Festival should be on everyone’s submission list. They treat films and filmmakers with care and deep respect – and at the same time, manage to extend hospitality and friendliness second to none. Their Jury is comprised of industry professionals and is headed up by Leonard Maltin! Seriously, what more can you ask for? If I could give 6 stars I would. – Ron Vignone
CIFF 2020 was a wonderfully run festival, especially given a pandemic. Great communication, opportunities for the filmmakers to network, and a well-curated collection of films. The staff did a tremendous job making the festival run as smoothly as possible. – Shawn Kelley
What a fantastic festival! Wonderful lineup, great communications, and very welcoming organizers. They managed to put together an extraordinary festival even in the midst of a pandemic. I can’t recommend this festival enough and very much hope we can experience it in person someday soon! – Nora Mariana
A big THANK YOU to Merridee and the rest of the CIFF gang for a great fest during these trying times. They went above and beyond to make sure the fest had some sense of normality. – Pat Battistini
Coronado Island Film Festival is a top-shelf operation. Merridee, Doug, and the whole CIFF team worked hard to build a community and enrich the filmmaker festival experience in a virtual environment. – Kristin Atwell
Fantastic festival with so much support from staff. Doug St. Denis and Alexis Allen went above and beyond in putting on an informative filmmakers panel that we had the pleasure of participating in. A really excellent event for female filmmakers in general, as they have many awards honoring the work of up-and-coming female filmmakers. Highly recommended! – Katherine Sainte Marie
