THIS SCREENING REQUIRES A RESERVATION | RUSH TICKETS AT THE DOOR Young Carlos Acosta, nicknamed Yuli by his father, Pedro, shuns discipline and education in his run-down neighborhood of Havana, Cuba. But Pedro senses his son’s natural talent and forces him to attend Cuba’s National Dance School. There Yuli begins to develop his talent and forge his legend as one of the best dancers of his generation and the first black artist to dance the part of Romeo with London’s Royal Ballet, where he performs as a principal dancer for the next 17 years.
