Family PoP-Up Film: The Island of Lost Girls

FAMILY POP UP FILM ALL AGES: OUTDOOR Screening, jackets recommended, BYBC Bring your own beach chair! (low to the ground to prevent blocking views). Come early and grab a bite to eat at Ferry Landing and enjoy this wonderful film by LOCAL Coronado Filmmakers! “This may be a family film, but it’s also one of the coolest, craziest and most intense nature thrillers ever made. It’s the story of three young girls trying to stick together as they get trapped in a sea cave filled with crashing waves, hundreds of sea lions, and monstrous elephant seals.

This film was shot on location on a remote island off the coast of Baja, Mexico. The girls performed all their own stunts, often swimming in real sea caves and encountering a host of wild animals. They survived the shooting, but will they survive the movie?” **While the film is family friendly there are a few scenes that come with warning; sea elephants fighting one another and other tense moments of survival.**
