NO RESERVATION REQUIRED | RUSH TICKETS AVAILABLE AT THE DOOR In January 1972, the Rev. James Cleveland welcomed Aretha Franklin to the stage of his New Temple Missionary Baptist Church in Watts, Los Angeles. The two-night stand at the modest church became Franklin’s “Amazing Grace” album, a double platinum, Grammy-winning hit and a landmark of its genre. Originally shot by the late Sydney Pollack, the film remained on the shelf for decades due to insurmountable synchronization problems. Enter Alan Elliott, a Jerry Wexler protégé, who, using new digital technology, mounted a restoration.
